   Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) contains a lot of growth factors which play an important role in tissue repair and regeneration. The use of PRP has the advantages of faster recovery and improved functional outcomes in tendon and ligament injuries. However, the preparation method and the clinic application are different in various researches. This paper reviews the progress of PRP preparation methods and its clinical applications.
