The 14th Orthopedics Academic Conference and the 7th COA International Academic Meeting will be held in November 15to November 18, 2012 in Beijing International Convention Center. The conference set up the conference for combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine for the first time. With the lead of principle and director of Tianjin Hospital, Ma Xinlong, department directors and committee members of Orthopedics of combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine, from many provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions, positive propagate and organize manuscripts. After serious and careful preparation and elaborate arrangement, 6 tutorials will be concerned in the conference, and 8 invited guests will make a speech. There will be all together 10 case discussions, so for each special subject, there will be case discussions. There are totally 76 6-minute speeches on special subjects.

The conference is outstood by combining traditional Chinese and western medicine, and invites many national famous orthopedic experts of traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine, and combined Chinese and western medicine to give lectures. These lectures include trauma, spine, joint, first aid medical science and other fields, which cover both traditional medical theories and modern medicine concept. Daily orthopedic tutorials are about numerous domestic bone disease experts of combined traditional Chinese and western medicine giving lectures on researches and concepts on present domestic and foreign hot spots and difficulties of orthopedic diseases, which cover both basic researches and clinical diagnosis closely on combined traditional Chinese and western medicine. Experts participating in case discussions carefully prepared typical and difficult clinical cases. They will communicate and explore the best treatment with evaluation experts and other delegates. Special subject speeches are rich in content and cover a wide range, and the articles are in high level. Experts carefully selected spine, joint, trauma, minimal invasion, osteoporosis, and other representative professional articles, which cover basic, clinical, nursing, rehabilitation, and other fields, involving clinical researches on multiple trauma, multiple fractures, complex fractures, open fractures, intra-articular fractures, clinical diagnosis standard research and treatment experience on bone and joint trauma diseases, clinical researches on soft tissue injury and athletic injury, basic researches on treatment of bone disease using combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine, related researches on orthopedic disease drug and rehabilitation and nursing of fractures etc..
